Location: north-east of the Vysoké Tatry (high Tatras) moutain. Pieninský Národný park – The Pieniny National Park, a part of the region, is famous for its natural beauties, rocky cliffs, rich fauna and flora. The most remarkable atraktion is the ethnographic museum in Cartusian-Camaldul culture monastery in the town of Červený Kláštor and above all the river navigation on genuine Goral (local ethnic group) wooden rafts. The navigation is organized on the Dunajec river – the Slovak – Polish borderline river. Its length is 11 kms and travers the most remarkable natural monument – the Dunajec river rift. The navigations are organized from April – November.
The surrouding nature is suitable for hiking, cycling, rafting, canoeing.
